Trenice Edwards is an Actress / Comedian born in Port Arthur, Tx raised in the inner city of Norfolk, VA. Being the baby girl of a rather large family finding a creative way to get attention wasn't easy, but at 9 she caught the acting bug and did her 1st play with ODU Harrah Players, Norfolk, Va. After losing her grandmother to cancer she passed time away by watching her granny's favorite tv shows Love Boat, Good times,
Shirley Temple, to role play with the neighborhood kids.
After losing her 1st love/child's father to murder a week before Christmas life changed forever. Her conversational style makes you feel like you're in her living room laughing. She talks about being married and parenting in the 21st century, reality TV, commercial, day-to-day life. With 20 years of experience working in the Entertainment Industry behind the scenes. It was during this time her alter-ego TRENA B.REAL was born.
Her positive personality and faith have always made her believe in telling the truth by any means necessary. Keeping it Real in such a fake industry helped her work with some of today's hottest hip-hop artists. During this time she realized being famous isn't all that's it cracked up to be, so she decided to leave her day job and pursue her dreams and writing comedy.
She had her own Radio Show on WTJZ 1270 for 2yrs where she coined the phrase
"Getting Jigga for Jesus" she also hosted several radio events & live remotes. She worked at Willis Broadcasting the 1st African American owned & operated gospel radio station in Norfolk, VA. where she had her 1st radio show.
She has a love for making people Laugh. She currently working on comedy webseries for Feb 2021
